  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces egg noodles or pasta
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Step 1: Cook the Noodles.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt and the egg noodles. Cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2: Brown the Ground Beef.
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Step 3: Add Garlic and Seasonings.
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Add the diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.

Step 4: Combine with Noodles.
Once the mixture is simmering, add the cooked noodles to the skillet. Stir well to combine, allowing the noodles to soak up the flavors for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 5: Add Cheese (Optional).
If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let it melt for a couple of minutes.

Step 6: Serve.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy your delicious meal!
