Method:
- Prepare the pie crust by combining flour, butter, and water in a bowl. Knead until smooth and shape into a disk. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the pie crust and place in a pie dish. Fill with apple mixture.
- Cover with the remaining crust, seal the edges, and brush with egg yolk.
- Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.

- When filling the pie, ensure the apples are tightly packed but not overflowing.
- Seal the edges of the pie crust with a fork or your fingers to prevent leakage.
